PLCweb The questions this blog ponders are three: (1) How can web 2.0 technologies be used to support Action Teacher Research? (2) What lessons can be taken from an elementary school's Teacher Research Professional Learning Community's use of web 2.0 technology and applied in the classroom? (3) What changes in the interactions of teachers engaged in professional development when the school-wide staff is introduced to an online collaborative environment?  PLCweb2841 points

what is a blog and wikki all about? What happened to the old fashioned way of writing?  chrissw66 points
Making Learning Personal I have found through my experience that by making learning a personal experience, children tend to harness onto the information stronger and have an easier time at retrieval. What do I mean by "personalizing learning"? We have all seen it, but rarely think about it. It's in most sitcoms where the "dorky" student teaches the "jock" math by relating it to sports. That is personalizing the experience for the learner.  snickle180 points
